Thank you for choosing to support Strive Lane! With your help, we’re able to develop more wonderful, impactful initiatives for our young leaders and community.

Our projects are self-funded and we would appreciate any donations you would like to make to help our community projects such as our #walk4mentalhealth project and future projects.

Project 1: #walk4mentalhealth

This project supports the personal growth and mental well-being of our young people providing an opportunity for our young leaders to engage in an informal walk and talk with community leaders and inspirational people of Townsville.

Initially, we began planning with the Australian Defence Force Veteran’s in mind to provide support for their mental wellbeing by helping them share their experience with young people as a way for young people to develop respect for our servicewomen and men and also patriotism for our nation. Further refining our project, we have opened invitations to all community leaders with inspiring stories of leadership, their life journey, starting their own business, achieving their goals, and what tools they used to get there.

Our young leaders and mentors will meet with the community leaders fortnightly on Saturday morning at the ANZAC Memorial Park at The Strand and walk 2-5km side by side asking them various questions of their leadership experience and sharing their understanding of leadership fostering a rapport that makes both our young leaders and most importantly our veterans feel valued in the community.

This project will also be open to leaders of other fields to join us on a walk and talk with our young leaders to share their inspirational stories, experiences and ultimately inspire our next generation of leaders.

Donations will go towards organising transport for our young leaders (from home to ANZAC Park), custom-made shirts, signage and a table for donations towards our chosen charity - Queensland Youth Services (QYS).

By donating to #walk4mentalhealth and allowing us to continue this important work, you’re helping us make a difference in the lives of young people in Australia who seek our support and services every day.
